Daily Campello Art News: Nothing Gold Can Stay

Studio Gallery and the Stimson Centre now and as a result of March 3, 2023 have a new collaborative exhibition by Suzanne Yurdin on screen. This exhibit is available for viewing at the Stimson Heart in Dupont Circle by appointment only.  The work was curated by J.S. Herbert and Halley Stubis.

Suzanne Yurdin’s paintings use the fragility of nature as a catalyst to awaken our senses to our vanishing natural landscape. This exhibition of paintings explores themes of growth, improve, decomposition, and regeneration. Via gestural brushwork and intuitive mark generating, the function connects the viewer to their feeling of put on Earth and seeks to energize our efforts to save the beauty of places that are unable to be changed.

Nothing Gold Can Stay - Suzanne Yurdin

In my immensely educated impression, Yurdin is one particular of the most gifted summary painters in our location – so go check out out these performs!

The Stimson Middle is open for viewing of the exhibition by appointment only, from Monday to Friday, involving the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. All site visitors are inspired to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccination. Remember to speak to gallery director Halley Stubis at [email protected] or phone at 202-232-8734 to set up an appointment.
